Jade pendant - Hetian nephrite jade beads (18mm & 13mm)-Hulu(葫芦）
Two large beads combined to shape a Hulu( 葫芦) which brings fortune luck and health. One is Hetian yellow nephrite jade with charming soft watery yellow , the other one is Hetian green nephrite jade with vigorous refreshing mint green.
There are some minor black spots in the green bead , which is very normal as a piece of natural green nephrite and also a strong evidence of its totally natural property as a green nephrite. The most remarkable feature of the wonderful green bead is the cat’s eye effect ( chatoyancy) on the top of the bead which is a rare variety of green nephrite and more expensive. The other yellow bead is remarkable for its rareness because Hetian yellow nephrite is not common.
There is slight not obvious line in yellow bead. This line would possibly become more and more invisible after wearing because the body temperature and moisture reacting with the jade.
