Jade bangle bracelet ( 54.8mm) - High quality icy Myanmar jadeite bangle bracelet

CA$2,380.00

This high quality jade bangle is a textbook example of natural icy jadeite from Myanmar (Burma), celebrated for its ethereal glow and "frozen" translucency. Often referred to as "icy variety" jade, this piece captures the light beautifully, radiating a cool, serene energy that feels both modern and timeless.

The bangle features a delicate, pale moss-green base that transitions into areas of near-white translucency. Its "icy" nature is evident in the way light travels through the stone, giving it a watery, gelatinous depth. You’ll notice subtle "clouds" or cotton-like inclusions within the stone—these are the hallmarks of Grade A natural jadeite, proving that it has not been chemically treated or bleached.

The surface has been polished to a high, glass-like luster. It feels incredibly smooth and cool to the touch, a characteristic of high-density jadeite that quickly adapts to the wearer’s body temperature.

One of the most captivating aspects of this piece is a vibrant green vein that flows through the stone. In one of the close-up photos, you can see this concentrated burst of emerald color. This isn't a crack, but a "root" of color where the minerals were most intense during the stone’s formation millions of years ago.

Additionally, the bangle shows a natural stone vein (often called a "tendon" in jade circles). This is a structural signature of the earth, a faint line that confirms the jade grew in a high-pressure environment. It adds character and serves as a "birthmark" of its 100% natural origin. Because this vein is form naturally, it will not cause crack, and might be smaller after wearing because of the body heat and moisture, but we largely reduce the price because of this minor imperfection.

Size: inner width 54.8 mm, band thickness 8.9mm, band width 11.5mm
